The Wellspring of Good - Познай Себе Си

During World War II after the beginning of the bombardment of Sofia, Peter Deunov moved with a group of his followers to the village Murchaevo, in the Vitosha Mountains where they were welcomed into the home of Temelko. Here he gave his last directions and guidance, summarizing his previous lectures and outlining the future of humanity. These last words were taken down in shorthand and presented by his closest disciples Bojan Boev and Boris Nikolov in the book The Wellspring of Good.

On one occasion, the Master explained that in his lectures and talks he often answers the unspoken questions of his listeners. This explains the sudden change in topic apparent in many lectures as well as the personalized colloquial style of speech.

It has been attempted to preserve the original character of the Master's words in the English translation. The glossary is included to help explain some of the words.

Among the teachers of modern spirituality Peter Deunov occupies a special place. He is speaking out of a long spiritual tradition of a country that has brought forth two other mystical Schools in the past: the Scools of Orpheus and of the Bogomils. In doing so, he gave a voice to the longing for a real human community and the spiritual unification of humanity. His Teaching seeks to prepare for the new global culture of Brotherhood that is to be established in the future.
